Hair loss in men is a disorder affecting millions in spite of their age and general health condition. A surgery will give you an instant result for a certain period of time, and during this period, you can forget about taking medications or applying anything. However, hormonal problems, if present, will resurface at some point again, and the process of hair loss will most probably resume.
